University of Coimbra challenges researchers to prepare and cook algae-based menu

The Social Services of the University of Coimbra (SASUC) challenged a group of researchers from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra (FCTUC) to prepare and cook a complete menu with macroalgae as the main ingredient. The lunch will take place on 19 December at 12 noon at the D. Dinis Cultural Centre.

Ana Marta Gonçalves, Leonel Pereira and João Cotas, researchers from the Centre for Functional Ecology (CFE) of the Department of Life Sciences of FCTUC, will cook rice with seaweed as part of the MENU - Marine Macroalgae project: Alternative Recipes for a Daily Nutritional Diet.
Registration costs €9.50 if paid by UC card or SASUC Go! app and €9.75 if paid by ATM card.
