The Welcome and Integration Week for new students at the University of Coimbra runs from the 9th to the 13th of September. The programme includes initiatives in all Faculties and Departments, opportunities to engage with the cultural centres and sections of the Academic Association of Coimbra (AAC), a city-wide treasure hunt ("Peddy-Paper"), and a concert by Bárbara Tinoco and the Big Band Rags, featuring members of the Tuna Académica da Universidade de Coimbra (TAUC - Academic UC Students Band).

Cristina Albuquerque, Vice Rector of the University of Coimbra (UC), says: "This Welcome & Integration Week aims to showcase what the University of Coimbra has to offer, from services and facilities to cultural, associative, and sporting initiatives. We hope to foster connections among the various members of the UC community and encourage interaction between current students and those who are just arriving."
