On Saturday, the 15th of February, at 5 p.m., the Tropical Greenhouse of the Botanical Garden of the University of Coimbra will host a show as part of the second edition of Ouvido Absoluto, a music cycle dedicated to ambient, experimental, noise, and field recordings. The event is organised by Casa das Artes Bissaya Barreto.
The artist Clothilde will bring "her machines" — synthesizers built from scratch by her partner Zé Diogo — to the Tropical Greenhouse. A skilled sound sculptor, Clothilde creates sonic landscapes that feel both distant and tangible. Her lates album, Cross Sections, offers a deeply personal journey where raw, intimate sensations coexist. The concert at the Botanical Garden promises to explore new sonic territories, inviting the audience to step through a portal without a defined destination.
Tickets cost 10 euros and can be purchased at the Casa das Artes Bissaya Barreto box office or online.
