The University of Coimbra/Academic Association of Coimbra (UC/AAC) won three gold medals at the National University Judo Championships. There were 113 competitors, including 12 new national university champions.
Bernardo Fernandes (-60 kg), from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra (FCTUC), Catarina Costa (-52 kg), from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra (FMUC), and Beatriz Moreira (+78 kg), from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra (FPCEUC), won the national titles. With this performance, they qualified for the European University Judo Championships, which will be held in Warsaw from 22 to 25 August 2025.
The competition took place on Saturday 23rd November at the University of Aveiro.
